
Mystery Match was a mobile puzzle game with new content released every two weeks. The game was already released and in live-service when I joined as QA, then after 6 months I transitioned in role to Design.
My responsibilities included:
Creating and overseeing all level content creation
Initial and ongoing balancing of all level content
Designing and iterating upon new mechanics and features
Authoring of tools to assist with balancing

Mechanic - Hidden Charge
Hidden Charge was a new mechanic added to Mystery Match at level 2206.
The core idea expanded upon a previous mechanic, The Eye - a 2x2 sized mechanic that has the ability to clear the board, including unbreakable items.
The Hidden Charge had to be placed under the Hidden Tiles, a mechanic from the start of the game that had previously only hidden Collectable Cameos.
This allowed for designers to use the Hidden Tiles in levels without having the goal of Collect the Cameos.
